Before school starts, help your child sharpen their fine motor skills needed for so many classroom activities. Created by our board-certified occupational therapist, Kara Hoegerl, OTR/L, this mini-camp is just for kids entering grades 1-3. Skills that will be practiced include handwriting, cutting, shoe tying, fine motor strength, and underlying sensory issues. It’s a great way to set your child up for success this upcoming school year!
Join us as we explore strategies to improve your child’s relationship with food! With the guidance of occupational therapist, Kara Hoegerl, children will engage in fun and playful group activities to turn mealtime into an adventure! In this cooking-focused session, kids will get to participate in hands-on preparation of a variety of simple and easy recipes, building upon their growing appreciation of food.
Join us as we explore strategies to improve your child’s relationship with food! With the guidance of occupational therapist, Kara Hoegerl, children will engage in fun and playful group activities to turn mealtime into an adventure! In this session, kids will use their tactile, olfactory, and visual senses and, with a variety of foods, create artistic (and delicious) masterpieces!
Get your child ready for the next big milestone in their life: kindergarten! Through engaging activities developed around a theme of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle, kids aged 4-6 will have the opportunity to practice the skills that are essential for a successful transition into school. From the fine motor skills needed to learn to write to the sensory processing skills that help kids to manage in a busy classroom environment, this group will cover it all!

In this session, children will get to explore a variety of foods through fun activities that engage their senses. Pre-teens aged 9-11 years are invited to join our 3-week group to learn about building healthy habits for a thriving lifestyle. Your child will participate in a variety of fun and engaging activities, designed by an Occupational Therapist and rooted in mindfulness-based therapy approaches, within a small peer group setting.
ONLY 1 SLOT REMAINING! This 3-session group is designed just for kids in kindergarten through second grade, and explores strategies to help improve your child’s relationship with food. The fun, playful activities each week will turn mealtime into a sensory adventure: kids will learn to utilize all five of their senses to expand their comfort levels with different foods. Within this small group setting, participants will also experience valuable social interactions and learning opportunities through peer modeling.
