Meet Our Team

Sarma Givens is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who recently relocated to Annapolis with her husband and daughter. Before joining Parker Place in the fall of 2024, she served as a primary care provider for both adult and pediatric patients in Baltimore County.

Sarma earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a Family Nurse Practitioner certificate. During her studies, she was also a graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Family and Community Health, focusing on the Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Baltimore City.

In her free time, Sarma enjoys paddle boarding, practicing hot yoga, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Latvian.
