OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SCREENINGS
If your child’s school has partnered with Parker Place to offer occupational therapy services within the school environment, we would welcome the opportunity to conduct a completely free five-minute screening for your child!
This type of early screening is invaluable in identifying children experiencing sensory, motor, physical, and/or cognitive challenges. Getting these children connected with support services at a young age can help them build the skills to support their success at school, at home, and in social interactions.
When you register your child for a screening, our occupational therapist, Kara, will coordinate with your child’s teacher(s) to schedule a time to complete the screening in the classroom. After it has been completed, she will send you a “report card” summarizing her findings and any recommendations. There is no obligation to move forward with occupational therapy services for your child.
If you decide you are interested in setting up an evaluation (and weekly follow-up sessions, if indicated), Kara will again work with the school to schedule these services. The fees associated with these services would be paid to Parker Place directly - you will have an opportunity to place a credit card on file for convenient auto-billing. Fees for occupational therapy at school are as follows:
Evaluations (approx. 45 minutes) with report: $240.00
Weekly on-site OT sessions: (approx. 30 minutes): $80.00
Parent conference (via phone, Zoom or in person): $25.00 for 15 minutes; $40.00 for 30 minutes
Again, the five-minute screening is free and a great start to helping your child’s skills grow!
