Developmental Follow-UpS

Dr. Myra Cleary offers continuing care for a variety of disorders to support your child’s continued growth and development.

Follow-up care may be recommended as part of Dr. Cleary’s developmental pediatric assessments. Dr. Cleary also welcomes patients whom she previously treated in other area medical systems, or those wishing to transfer care from other developmental pediatricians.

Follow-up appointments offer the opportunity for Dr. Cleary to:

• Monitor your child’s progress toward their developmental milestones and treatment goals

• Address new or worsening medical or behavioral concerns

• Screen for additional conditions that may be indicated

• Suggest and offer resources for additional therapies and services

• Provide assistance with transition planning

Follow-up appointments are recommended approximately every 6-12 months for most of the conditions that Dr. Cleary treats. For children and teens in need of medication management, appointments are required approximately every 3 months once stable on a medication (2-4 week follow-ups are required when a new medication is started or when adjustments are needed).

Because Dr. Cleary does not accept insurance, please note that all her services are self-pay only. Follow-up appointments are charged at $200 each; cash, checks, and major credit cards are welcomed. Additional diagnostic testing, if needed, is charged at $50 per screening. If you plan to request out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance carrier, please notify us at check-in and we will be happy to provide documentation of your visit.
