Thank you for your generous offer to “adopt” this Receiving Family! Remember, we are only requesting that you purchase toys/gifts for the children in the family (please provide the same number of gifts, and/or the same approximate value of gifts, for each child!). Providing additional clothing, parent/caregiver gifts, and/or a gift card for groceries/necessities are completely optional, and may be purchased at your discretion and as your budget allows!

 

CHILD #1: O.M., GIRL, AGE 16

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  3. Starface Hydro-Star + Tea Tree Pimple Patches, 32ct (or gift card to Target where these items are sold)

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing:

  • The clothing items I most need are shoes (women’s size 9), underwear (women’s size Large), and a bra (size 38D)

CHILD #2: E.M., GIRL, AGE 14

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. Conair Big Curls and Waves Hair Setter, 12pc

  2. Conair Magenta Soft Touch AC Motor Salon Professional Hair Dryer, 1875 watts

  3. Starface Hydro-Star + Tea Tree Pimple Patches, 32ct (or gift card to Target where these items are sold)

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing:

  • The clothing items I most need are shoes (women’s size 9), underwear (women’s size Medium, and a bra (size 36B)

Child #3: B.M., BOY, AGE 8

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

CHILD #4: J.M., BOY, AGE 5

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. LeapFrog Mr. Pencil’s Scribble & Write Sound It Out

  2. LeapFrog LeapReader Learn-to-Read 10-Book Mega Pack

  3. Any other educational toy that will help him with learning letters/numbers/words (he is really struggling)

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing:

  • The clothing items I most need are shoes (little kids’ size 11) and underwear (kids’ size Small)

My parent/caregiver wanted you to know this about me: “He loves coloring and all Disney characters, he loves building, he is mostly struggling with letter identification, phonics and reading words.”

OPTIONAL ITEMS & INFORMATION

If a Giving Family wishes to provide a gift for the parents/caregivers, we would most appreciate the following:

  • Parent/Caregiver #1 (L.M., female): “Anything you think a mom would like would be greatly appreciated, I am very sensitive to fragrances though”

If we were to receive a gift card for groceries or necessities, the following stores are most accessible to our family:

  • Wal-Mart

  • Sam’s Club

  • Aldi

Additional message from the family: “It’s going to be a very difficult Christmas, I work nights and am working both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so I will miss most of the holiday with my children. Things are tight even though I work full time and am actively looking for another full time job. I’ve taken on a new monthly payment of child care (I’ve always worked midnights to avoid this but now need two jobs and had to get my kids a spot in daycare after school when there was an opening as there are rarely ever openings) which has been a huge struggle until I can find a second full time job. We also had a big injury happen in the family and I am dealing with that all on my own which has been another huge hardship.”

NOTES FOR GIVING FAMILY:

  • Please remember to bring your gifts to our office no later than 5:00pm on Monday, December 16th!

  • Gifts should be unwrapped; however, donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, etc. are always appreciated!
