Thank you for your generous offer to “adopt” this Receiving Family! Remember, we are only requesting that you purchase toys/gifts for the children in the family (please provide the same number of gifts, and/or the same approximate value of gifts, for each child!). Providing additional clothing, parent/caregiver gifts, and/or a gift card for groceries/necessities are completely optional, and may be purchased at your discretion and as your budget allows!

 

CHILD #1: G.M., BOY, AGE 12

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. Bicycle

  2. Anything is appreciated!

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing (optional):

  • The clothing items I most need are any type of clothes (but especially sweatpants) in men’s size XL and shoes in men’s size 10.

My parent/caregiver wanted you to know this about me:

  • I would be happy with anything! My favorite color is blue.

CHILD #2: D.M., GIRL, AGE 9

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. Art supplies

  2. Bicycle

  3. Anything is appreciated!

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing (optional):

  • The clothing items I most need are warm clothes for winter in girls’ size 12.

My parent/caregiver wanted you to know this about me:

  • I will be happy with anything I get and very appreciative! My favorite colors are pink and purple.

OPTIONAL ITEMS & INFORMATION

If a Giving Family wishes to provide a gift for the parents/caregivers, we would most appreciate:

  • Parent/Caregiver #1 (Y.G., female): Sweater in women’s size XL; sweatpants in women’s size L.

If we were to receive a gift card for groceries or necessities, the following stores are most accessible to our family:

  • Aldi

Additional message from the family: “We are in a really hard situation this year that I don’t know how we’re going to be able to overcome. We are in need of clothes, shoes, and food – it has been really rough here.”


NOTES FOR GIVING FAMILY:

  • Please remember to bring your gifts to our office no later than 5:00pm on Monday, December 16th!

  • Gifts should be unwrapped; however, donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, etc. are always appreciated!
