Thank you for your generous offer to “adopt” this Receiving Family! Remember, we are only requesting that you purchase toys/gifts for the children in the family (please provide the same number of gifts, and/or the same approximate value of gifts, for each child!). Providing additional clothing, parent/caregiver gifts, and/or a gift card for groceries/necessities are completely optional, and may be purchased at your discretion and as your budget allows!

 

CHILD #1: V.R., BoY, AGE 6

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. Radio-control car

  2. Small drone

  3. Legos

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing (optional):

  • I need pants and long-sleeved shirts in boys’ size 8. I am autistic and can’t wear jeans - khaki pants are preferred!

My parent/caregiver wanted you to know this about me:

  • I love Minecraft, Spider-Man, Batman, dragons and dinosaurs, and the color red!

CHILD #2: F.R., GIRL, AGE 5

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. Princess dress-up clothes

  2. Barbie dolls

  3. Barbie car

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing (optional):

  • I need dresses and leggings in girls’ size 10 - I have sensory issues, so these are the only items I wear!

My parent/caregiver wanted you to know this about me:

  • I love Disney Princesses, Moana, Peppa Pig, and my favorite color is pink!

CHILD #3: C.R., GIRL, AGE 15

3 gifts I would love to receive for Christmas:

  1. Hygiene products

  2. Gift card to stores like Hobby Lobby and/or Hot Topic

  3. Gift card to Steam

If a Giving Family wanted to provide clothing (optional):

  • I need clothing items of any kind in women’s size 24 plus, which can be hard to find. My favorite style is goth.

My parent/caregiver wanted you to know this about me:

  • My favorite colors are black, white, and red.

OPTIONAL ITEMS & INFORMATION

If we were to receive a gift card for groceries or necessities, the following stores are most accessible to our family:

  • Wal-Mart

  • Food Lion

Additional message from the family: “My wife has MS and is being forced to retire as of January, so it will be a rough Christmas.”


NOTES FOR GIVING FAMILY:

  • Please remember to bring your gifts to our office no later than 5:00pm on Monday, December 16th!

  • Gifts should be unwrapped; however, donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, etc. are always appreciated!
